Description:
A genus in the family Pinaceae, one of the most common coniferous trees. Larch Sukacheva found in the North of the European part of Russia and Northwest Siberia. In suitable conditions, it grows up to 46 metres or more in height with trunk diameter up to 1 meter and more. Can grow up to 300-600 years, larch seen under 800 years. The crown is loose, being radiographed sun, young trees conical. With age are rounded or ovoid, tupoveršinnuû form. With the steady winds only-flag. The needles are one-year, soft. Flattened, bright green, placed on long shoots spirally and alone, but on short — beams, up to 40 pieces each. Larch is a monoecious plant. Male spikelets orbicular-ovate, yellowish.
