Sawing on a multi-saw

Hello everyone.
I want to hear some professional advice on sawing a pallet billet on a multi-saw.
The birch and aspen carriage is sawn on a wide vertical line.
But it was the first time that the White Shark encountered a multi-saw. At least 4 people work on the multi-saw and 2 on sorting and packaging. Plus, a loader is involved.
But the cubic capacity of the finished one in 8 hours gives at most 10 cubic meters. Maybe someone knows how best to improve performance on a multi-saw?

Sawing on a multi-saw

Hello! To improve performance on a multi-saw, you can consider the following tips:
1. Process optimization: Make sure that all operations, including sorting and packaging, are as coordinated as possible. This will reduce downtime.
2. Increasing the number of saws: Use multi-saws with a large number of discs, which will allow you to get more lumber in one pass.
3. Regular maintenance: Keep the tools in perfect condition, check the sharpening of the discs and their condition to avoid overloading the equipment.
4. Staff training: Professional development of workers can significantly improve the efficiency of work on the machine.
5. Process automation: Consider the possibility of implementing automated systems for feeding and sorting workpieces.

Sawing on a multi-saw

Thank you very much for the information.
The engine is powered by a 75 kW multi-saw. The discs are sharpened after each 8-hour shift. The quantity is 22 pieces.
Maybe there are other solutions for sawing the carriage onto a tarn board, in addition to using disk multisaws?

Sawing on a multi-saw

Of course, a milling-paving line is better than a multi-saw. But these lines have a certain performance and it is usually decent. According to your raw material base, then you need to look at whether there are enough raw materials to feed this line. By installing such a line, you can significantly increase labor productivity. You can, by the way, on our portal woodresource.ru view ads for the sale of such lines, or if you do not find them, then place an ad for the purchase of such equipment. If you need help, write here.
