Vologda region increases exports of processed wood: shipments of rounded logs increased by 48%
The timber industry complex of the Vologda region demonstrates a significant increase in exports of deep-processing products. As of the beginning of 2025, the export volume of rounded logs reached 662 cubic meters, which is 48% higher than in the same period last year. The North-Western Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Department provided phytosanitary support for 20 batches of products. Two new shipments to Kazakhstan with a total volume of 76 cubic meters have recently been certified, which guarantees their full compliance with the quarantine requirements of the importing country.
