What has changed?

The law allows state institutions (according to the list approved by the governor of the region after coordination with the Federal Forestry Agency) to independently, without the involvement of third—party performers, to harvest wood in ripe and overgrown forests without bidding - under a direct contract for the purchase and sale of forest plantations. This will ensure the timely reproduction of forests on lands with ripe and overgrown plantations.

• In the near future, government agencies and enterprises will have additional volumes of timber for sale.

• In 2026, the market will remain difficult, with low demand, so the sale of products will require more active measures.
