    Rosleskhoz summed up the results of timber transportation for the first quarter of 2026. The total volume of transported timber amounted to 82 million m3. For comparison, in the fourth quarter of 2025, this figure was lower by about a third – 61.6 million m3. In three months of 2026, 2.4 million electronic accompanying documents (EDS) were generated. On average, logging trucks transported about 0.88 million m3 of wood daily.

    Petr Mikka, Head of the Department for the Development of Information Systems and the State Forest Register of the Federal Forestry Agency, noted:

"In almost 1.5 years that the FGIS of the Forestry Complex has been operating, more than 10 million electronic accompanying documents for the transportation of timber have been created. The total volume of timber transported during this time amounted to 366.3 million m3. Most of the EDA is traditionally created in winter, when there is an active logging process"
