Research and analytical centre for forest economy and environmental management will participate in St. Petersburg International Forestry Forum

30 September – 1 October 2014 in St. Petersburg will host the key event of the Russian timber industry – the XVI St. Petersburg international Forestry Forum "Russian forest week". Research and analytical centre for forest economy and environmental management will participate in the Forum and will be the partner of the round table "forestry: improving the economic foundations of state forest management. From words to deeds".

In 2014 XVI St. Petersburg international Forestry Forum will be held under the title "Russian forest week". The forum is held under support of the Ministry of natural resources and environment, Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency of forestry (Rosleskhoz) of the Russian Federation, Trading-industrial chamber of the Russian Federation, WWF Russia and RAO BUMPROM. The organizer – Exhibition Association "RESTEC®".

The centre for forest economy and environmental Sciences was organized on 1 July 2003. The mission of the Center is formation of the system and improving the system of strategic planning in the field of forestry and integrated development of forestry enterprises in sustainable forest management and increase of economic efficiency of forest use.
