From 6 to 9 September 2016 will be held in Krasnoyarsk, one of the largest woodworking exhibitions of Russia "EXPODREV". In 18-th time it will bring together forestry professionals from around the world in the heart of Siberia.
For four days the city will become the main venue of the demonstration of advanced technologies for logging, woodworking, bioenergy. This year here will bring together over 100 exhibiting companies from 15 countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, France, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Slovenia, the USA, China, etc.
At 7000 square metres outdoor and indoor exhibition will present the most advanced technologies of the industry that exist in the world at the moment. At the exhibition you will see in action the whole cycle of wood processing from logging heavy duty large machines to press wood waste into environmentally friendly pellets. It will also illustrate the full range of automation and electronic control, in particular software for automatic log sorting system and innovative x-ray scanning of wood.
In addition, the exhibition will see modern equipment for furniture production, tools, equipment, packaging, transportation and storage equipment, as well as lumber for all purposes: from the wooden house to the equipment of the whole plant.
A large-scale exhibition will complement the serious business program.
The key event of the business program will be a large-scale timber industry of the Krasnoyarsk forum. At the site of the planned discussion relevant to forestry development issues and finding solutions to existing problems in the industry. The theme will be ecology of the forest. The participants – leading experts, representatives of business, science and government will discuss ways to preserve and restore forests, as well as methods for effective forest management without damaging forest ecosystems. In addition, the forum will host over a dozen round tables where experts will discuss the investment program and measures to support forestry, and staffing of the forestry sector, legislative initiatives, development of bioenergy and other topics.

In addition, for the second time in the framework of the exhibition will take place presentation of investment projects in the forestry sector. The Ministry of natural resources and ecology of the Krasnoyarsk region organizes the collective exhibition stand, which will feature the advanced development of the local scientific community in the field of forestry.

Note that this year the XVIII woodworking exhibition EXPODREV will be held under the patronage of the chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation (RF CCI).
