The Norwood SM company is a sawmill company engaged in sawing wood and exporting finished lumber to countries near and far abroad.
10 years ago, the company launched a semi-automatic sawmill line from the Swedish manufacturer AriVislanda. The launch of this line has become a serious stage in the development of the enterprise. Average productivity – up to 350m3 boards per shift.
To date, the production capacity of the roundwood processing plant is about 200,000 m3/year. The company buys sawn raw materials from suppliers – suppliers with whom contracts are concluded on a long-term basis.
At the Norwood SM LLC enterprise, all processes are involved that ensure the production of high-quality lumber, starting from the sorting of sawn raw materials and ending with the heat treatment of the board in drying chambers. In the autumn of 2021, the first stage of BASCHILD drying chambers was put into operation, the second stage of drying chambers is on the way to commissioning, which will ensure a continuous drying process in full from the volume of lumber produced.
