The SDS-3 wood-chip machine is an industrial plant for processing various types of wood, lumber and secondary raw materials into chips (sawdust). The resulting output material is used for the production of biofuels (briquettes, pellets, pellets), as a litter for birds or animals, as well as for the manufacture of packaging, fibrolite plates, and other needs.
Increased productivity in the range of 30-40 cubic meters of recyclable materials per hour is realized through the use of a movable block of planing shafts, which constantly moves when the wood is stationary. This solution eliminates idle moves and pauses necessary for loading raw materials or maintaining a certain volume of it, which is typical for installations with movable loading bins.
Design subtleties
In addition to the movable shaft block with the ability to adjust the lowering height, the peculiarity of the proposed equipment is the lateral arrangement of three electric motors with a capacity of 15 kW. The increased volume hopper with dimensions of 1550x610x700 mm (LxWxH) allows continuous loading without interrupting the planing cycle. In order to set the required chip sizes, it is necessary to adjust the departure of the shafts.
