Our company specializes in the import and wholesale of lumber in Oman
and has its sales representatives in the countries of the Persian Gulf (Middle East). We are interested in regular purchases of sawn timber from FIR 1/2/3 grade with good geometry, of the following sizes:

Technical requirements for the material:

Please pay special attention to the following lumber quality parameters:

· Without end joints (non—splice) - the board must be solid, for the entire length of 6 meters. The size of a 40-foot container is 12,040 mm (12 meters and 4 centimeters). In order for the container doors to close during loading, you need to have a canvas of less than the standard size of 6,000 mm.
This means that you have an allowance of minus 50 mm (5 centimeters) or 5,950 mm, neatly facing the ends of the canvas (board) from both ends.

· Gouging/sanding is not required (optional), loose lumber is allowed.
Without reducing or increasing the thickness, circular sawing.

· GOST 26002-83 — export — for softwood lumber (for spruce, pine, fir and larch), GOST 8486-86 — basic internal standard in Russia (and CIS countries) for softwood lumber (pine, spruce, larch, fir, cedar).
· Humidity: transport humidity is 18-22% (but preferably no more than 16%).
· Phytosanitary treatment, if necessary.
· Quality: non–obzola for the first grade, pencil obzola of the second grade and permissible obzola up to the third grade but not humpback, without blueness, rot, wormholes, bark beetle damage, fallen knots, with knots but without a false core, a maximum of 6 dry knots on one canvas are allowed-boards of 6 meters, while each knot must have a maximum diameter of 30 mm. Live knots with a maximum diameter of 20 mm are allowed in any quantity. Wood must be free of cracks, kinks, deep or wide crevices, without warping, dents, bends and twists, fiber disorders, fungal lesions, without defects, without holes and channels made by insects and worms. Natural and minor changes in the color of wood are allowed, not caused by rot, fungal damage or similar causes.
· Packaging - transport packages or block packages, according to GOST 19041-85.

, Supply volumes:

As a starting trial batch, we consider a volume of 10 containers x 40 feet ≈ 50 m3 of lumber, or a total volume of 500 cubic meters.
If the first shipment of the trial batch is successful on competitive terms, we are ready to start regular deliveries of a much larger volume.

· Please provide information on the price of the first, second, and third grades (indicating prices separately for each grade) - according to export GOST 26002-83.

, Important pricing terms:

Please note that we are a foreign importing company engaged in export operations. Accordingly, we are not VAT payers on the territory of the Russian Federation, and we ask you not to take VAT into account in the cost calculations (or provide the opportunity to work at a rate of 0% for export). Please specify two prices, the first is FCA and the second is FOB Astrakhan port, the cargo will go to Iran.
