The company was established in June 2024 as a new legal entity (by separating from the ULK Group of Companies). Today, its assets have everything necessary for operation: a good timber resource base, a fleet 100% equipped with specialized equipment, a wood processing plant and qualified personnel.
The entire forest fund of the Velsky Forestry Enterprise is under a 49-year long-term lease. The estimated cutting area is 1,136,100 m3 per year. Of these, 775,090 m3 are spruce and pine, 305,850 m3 are birch and 55,160 m3 are aspen. The yield of a coniferous sawmill with a diameter of 12 cm or more is 620,000 m3 per year, and a birch plywood ridge is 60,000 m3. Timber harvesting is carried out year-round in the Velsky, Shenkursky and Vinogradovsky districts of the Arkhangelsk region. All wood is exported to a timber processing plant in Velsk, whose production facilities allow for sawing 600,000 m3 of sawmill, producing 300,000 m3 of lumber and 90,000 tons of pellets. The plant's equipment is in perfect condition. The company is secured by long-term export contracts. The company's products are exported to the Asia-Pacific region. The orientation towards the eastern direction allows the business to work and develop steadily.
